American Standard Expands Studio S Bath Collection

American Standard Studio S Bath Collection Vanities Environment Shot

Kitchen and bath products brand American Standard has expanded its Studio S Collection to include a wider range of products.

Introduced at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, the new products in the Studio S Collection fall in line with its contemporary aesthetic but also offer smooth, flowing surfaces mixed with distinctive geometric shapes. The result, the company says, is a clean design that consumers want but with a softer appearance that makes them comfortable enough for everyday use.

“Striving to provide an option for any aesthetic, American Standard understands that people want their home to express a unique style, but also gets that with the look must come a faucet that can handle the dinner or party prep and cleanup and that guests will never have to ask for a plunger,” the company says. “The collection allows consumers to mix and match pieces to fit any style and space while enjoying the comfort and sensibility that American Standard is known to deliver, and the modular design approach offers options across bath faucets, showering, toilets and kitchen in a minimalist thematic, making it easy to find the right pieces for everything from a full remodel to a quick refresh.”

The Studio S Collection is now a full bath suite that includes such items as toilets, vanities, faucets, furniture, and soaking tub so it will meet the needs of any project. American Standard says is now “a one-stop shop for creating the urban bathroom that dreams are made of.”

Studio S includes an oval-shaped above-counter or vanity top sink, double drawer vanity with legs, freestanding tub and an assortment of toilets, including a new tankless, low-profile unit toilet featuring American Standard’s PowerFlo technology, which the company claims results in a quieter, more powerful flush.

“These pieces join the existing lineup of fittings in contemporary European-inspired silhouettes juxtaposed with smooth, softer surface details, including bathroom sink faucets in monoblock, widespread and vessel faucet configurations, showering options in both Pressure Balance and Thermostatic valve options, diverter trims, and a drenching, generously sized 8-inch rain showerhead,” the company says in a release announcing the product expansion.

The collection also offers smaller accessory pieces that include a towel ring, towel bars, pivoting toilet paper holder, and robe hook.

In addition to the modern design for the consumer, the line also offers features that American Standard created for the benefit of plumbers and other installers. For example, the faucets offer a Speed Connect system that simplifies installation by saving time and labor costs thanks to easy hose connections. Moreover, the freestanding tub saves time, labor and materials costs with an integral drain and concealed leveling feet, making it easy to install, the company says.

The Studio S Collection for the bathroom is priced from $278 to $3,140 and comes in matte black, polished chrome, and stainless steel finishes.

American Standard is a brand of LIXIL, a global company that also includes LIXIL, Grohe, DXV, INAX, and Permasteelisa.
