National home builder David Weekley Homes has announced the results of its 2019 Partners of Choice Awards for outstanding building product manufacturers and service providers.

The 15th annual awards program honored 15 partner companies with “A,A” status for excellence in both quality and service. Five additional companies were awarded “A” status for either quality or service.

All of David Weekley’s partner companies are rated by the builder’s team members at all levels through a quarterly National Trading Partner Survey. Partners are analyzed on the basis of quality, service, performance in reliability, communication, timeliness, follow-through, and other areas. For 2019, 160 partner companies were evaluated. Partners with the highest scores throughout the year are awarded the annual Partner Choice Award.

“Each year, we recognize those best-of-breed companies that provide an optimum combination of quality and service, according to the results of our rigorous evaluation process,” David Weekley Homes said in a statement “Our goal in using this evaluation and feedback platform is to ensure our homebuyers and homeowners receive a world-class experience in building their dream home.”

After each survey, partners are regularly provided with feedback, coaching, and discussion for addressing areas in need of improvement.

"We are truly honored by this award and company achievement,” says Craig Liston, national sales manager of 2019 “A,A” recipient Construction Solutions. “This quarterly process helps us stay ahead of any potential issues that may arise in the field.  We get immediate feedback so we can tackle any issue head on or continue on a path when any positive feedback is given."

“This survey allows us to evaluate the quality and service delivered by our providers and determine which ones offer the most value to our team members,” says John Schiegg, David Weekley's director of supply chain services. “Through the comprehensive feedback and mentorship aspects of our program, we’re also able to build better partnerships with our trade partners while positively impacting the entire home building industry.”

David Weekley is one of the nation’s largest homebuilders, ranking 15th in Professional Builder’s annual Housing Giants assessment in 2019. The company took in housing revenue of $2,152,934,035 in 2018 and had 4,687 closings.
