Nora Lighting’s new FLIN LED Series of thin recessed lighting fixtures can be installed in tight, 2-inch plenums in suspended ceilings and in new construction or remodel applications.
FLIN luminaires require no housing, instead they incorporate universal coiled flippers that hold the fixtures firmly in place. Its junction box measures less than two inches for shallow plenums, but a regressed baffle gives the appearance of a deep recessed fixture. The thin height allows the lights to be installed under some studs.
The product also features a dimmable integral Triac/ELV driver and a 22-inch quick connect for flexible installation. Frame-in plates are available for applications in new construction.
Lights are available in 4-, 6-, and 8-inch apertures and with round or square baffled trims. LEDs are offered in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K with 90+ CRI. The unit is rated for wet locations and is Energy Star certified.
