Known for its retro-style refrigerators and appliances, the Italian brand Smeg has introduced the new Portofino line of large ranges that comes in seven color options.
Portofino is a 36-inch dual-fuel range that features an ultra-rapid dual burner offering 18,000 BTU, a soft-close door, triple fan convection system, and a new isothermic cavity.
“This new and exclusive oven cavity, with rounded corners and smooth, uniform walls, offers the maximum possible insulation and therefore the best energy performance on the market,” the company says. The technology, the company adds, results in a reduction of up to 50 percent in preheating times compared to a traditional oven.
The oven is equipped with three fans with upgraded motors, which increase and refine cooking performance. This makes the temperature uniform throughout the entire cavity, allowing you to cook evenly on all three levels, like with professional equipment.
A large and intuitive LCD display supports the user in obtaining the highest levels of performance by allowing them to precisely monitor all parameters set. The display also provides access to 20 automatic cooking programs, introducing users to the world of professional cooking. The oven door has a Soft Close function that closes the door softly, silently, and automatically.
Inspired by the hues of the famous Ligurian village, the product comes in olive green, orange, red, white, stainless steel, black, and yellow.
