Not sold on the IKEA cabinet system? Contractor and carpenter Kody Horvey, of Up to Kode, has 10 reasons why you should reconsider.
"I've installed IKEA kitchens since 2009 and I'm here to tell you the quality is far better than you think," Horvey, owner and operator of his full-services carperntry, contracting, and consulting firm, says. "I have never had a warranty claim since I've started using IKEA kitchens."
His reasons for using Ikea kitchen cabinets include their good quality at a price, helpful customer service, the online layout planner, ease of installation, customization possibilities, and the wide variety of panels.
"Obviously the price is very good," Horvey says. "The price is effective. But it doesn't always come down to price by itself, because it has to have good quality. So the IKEA system has both. It's inexpensive and very good quality for the money."
"You can plan your kitchen yourself, or you can actually go to Ikea and get help from one of the representatives," Horvey goes on. "You can actually even pay them and have a private meeting where they sit and lay out everything. They're very good at what they do."
