Americh Introduces New Oxygen, Water Therapeutic Bathing Technology

Americh Nanobubble Experience Bathing Technology

Tub and shower products manufacturer Americh has introduced a new therapeutic bathing system that combines oxygen and water to produce what the company calls the Nanobubble Experience. It is a healthier way to bathe, the company adds.

As the company explains it, oxygen and water play an important role in the health of our largest organ, the skin. The Americh Nanobubble Experience (ANEX) features a compact system that infuses compressed air into the bath water to surround the body in a cloud of tiny bubbles. Americh says the bubbles deep cleans skin, allowing it to absorb the maximum amount of oxygen. This enhances skin cell growth, improves functioning of blood vessels and stimulates the body's immune system, the company claims.

"Nanobubble technology was a logical addition to the broad hydro-therapy offerings at Americh,” says Kim Frechette, national sales director for Americh. “Its fantastic skin benefits have a fan base among those in the ‘bathing know’--those who know being submerged in water is good for the body and mind and perhaps those who only need that one great idea to believe. It’s a facial treatment for the whole body. A simple idea with skin benefits that can be good for women and men, young and old and can be especially positive for those with skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis."

Americh explains that typical air bubbles from typical whirlpool tubs and jetted baths rise to the surface of the water and burst, cooling down the bath. Nanobubbles, on the other hand, are suspended in the water, “keeping heat energy in the water and helping to maintain a more consistent temperature in the bath. Air is drawn into the system and dissolved into the water at high pressure.”

As we age, our skin cell production decreases which reduces the stimulation of collagen. Collagen is the main structural protein in the skin, and it is continuously being replaced as it breaks down. Nanobubbles increase the skin cell regeneration process which stimulates production of natural collagen. Nanobubble technology can cleanse, hydrate, revitalize and tighten the skin.

In addition to its ANEX, Americh offers a number of other hydrotherapy systems:

  • Vibro Sonic Massage, which provides a comforting massage to six different pressure points throughout the back and deeply stimulates blood circulation to relax muscle tension.
  • iBath system of speakers which are integrated into the internal structure of the bathtub and can sync to personal media devices.
  • Chromatherapy lighting, the company says, is thought to heal the energy centers of the body, called chakras, and create emotional and physical well-being through application of color therapy.

Americh says it offers the unique experience of allowing customers to visit the factory in-person, sit in a tub, and choose custom placement of standard and rotary jets in the tub for a personalized hydro massage experience.
