The partnership between luxury fittings brand Brizo and renowned fashion designer Jason Wu continues with the company’s latest kitchen collection.
Brizo aims to bring fashion-forward fittings into homes, they say, which makes the partnership with Wu ideal. This latest release includes a pull-down kitchen and prep faucet, bar faucet, and soap or lotion dispenser in a bright white matte finish.
“Since the start of our relationship with Jason Wu in 2006, his forward-thinking sense of style continues to enrich and influence the Brizo brand’s unique, fashion-centric approach to design,” said Mandy Ellington, Brizo director of brand management. “Over the years, the collaboration has evolved, first producing the Jason Wu for Brizo Bath Collection, and now, the Jason Wu for Brizo Kitchen Collection.”

Wu’s name may be recognized for designing the dresses Michelle Obama wore during the first and second presidential inauguration, or the countless celebrities who wear his designs, such as Reese Witherspoon and Julianne Moore. He currently runs his own luxury ready-to-wear fashion line and was formerly the artistic director for Hugo Boss’ womenswear, ready-to-wear, and accessories divisions for five years.
The new kitchen faucets come solely in matte white, but offer different customizable features. Spouts can either be arc or square, and there are three handle options to choose from: all white, polished nickel, or Guyana teak with nickel accents. The prep faucet is a smaller version of the kitchen faucet, with a slightly minimized arc. All designs have a Scandinavian influence, the company says.
All finishes were chosen to pay homage to Wu’s work and his partnership with Brizo. In the 2012 Jason Wu for Brizo Bath Collection, matte black took the stage. This latest release nods to his previous work. The accents of polished nickel in the kitchen collection’s handles mimic the base of the mannequins he designs on, the company says.

Simplicity emerges as a strong influence on the design as well, the company says. With the latest kitchen faucets, the goal is to let the design speak for itself. Though white may seem like a quiet, subtle color, it’s far from common when it comes to kitchen faucets.
Additionally, there are smart technology features built-in to the faucets. Users can simply tap on the faucets to begin water flow through Brizo’s SmartTouch Technology. The faucets also have the ability to be paired with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant to use its VoiceIQ Technology. Users are able to use their voice to command specific water flows, turn the faucet on or off, and change temperature. There is even a specific handwashing mode that follows CDC guidelines.
“I’ve been honored to work with the Brizo brand for over a decade—merging our complementing approaches to design to bring fashion into the home,” says Wu. “I was eager to collaborate again to push the boundaries of both finish and style. Together, we bring a timeless fashion statement into the kitchen with the Jason Wu for Brizo Kitchen Collection in this distinctive matte white finish.”
The line is open for orders, and shipping begins this winter.
