Danze Adds New Red Faucet to Foodie Collection

Decorative plumbing brand Danze by Gerber has expanded its Foodie Collection of faucets with caliente red.

“Homeowners who are at-home chefs and love to entertain appreciate the size and scale of this faucet,” says Katie Hayes, senior product manager for the company. “The addition of the red hose gives it a playful pop of color and creates a focal point of design in a contemporary or transitional kitchen environment.”

The commercial-style pre-rinse unit features a spring-action wand that allows the user to reach a wide area of the sink and facilitates the filling of large pots. The company says, however, that scale of the faucet is a bit more compact than traditional pre-rinse faucets, making it ideal for the home kitchen.

Featuring a ceramic disc valve, the unit has soft-touch nozzles for easy removal of mineral buildup, a 20 9/16-inch-high spout that swivels 360 degrees, and an almost 9-inch reach. A twist of the spray head allows the user to move between a single steady water flow and a more forceful spray. It operates at a rate of 1.75 gallons per minute.
