DSC Intrusion Security Products, part of Tyco, has introduced home security and automation value kits, with features including lighting, temperature control, and appliance control, for model homes and large developments.
Builders participating in the Model Home Program receive a 50 percent reduction on products used to demonstrate the home and security systems in their model homes. The kit includes a keypad, four door and window contacts, and a motion sensor.
For the Community Program, builders and security installers can take advantage of reduced pricing based on the size of the project and the number of systems that will be installed.
The systems use DSC’s PowerSeries Neo scalable hybrid wireless platform that combines the reliability of hardwired systems with the convenience of wireless application modules. The devices feature PowerG wireless intrusion technology for robust, secure two-way wireless communications.
“The introduction of these programs provides builders and their security installation partners with convenient access to the latest smart home solutions, which is what savvy home buyers are asking for today,” Tim Myers, product line director, intrusion, for Tyco Security Products, said in a statement.
