Task Lighting from Hardware Resources has updated its SempriaLED Assembled Strip Lights to eliminate the spotty look found in other LED strips.
The new under-cabinet lighting strips feature more diodes that help create a smoother bar of light, eliminating the “dot-dot-dot effect” on countertop surfaces, the company says. Lights also offer a 90+ Color Rendering Index, above industry averages, and are rated for 50,000 hours, Task Lighting claims.

“With all of the advantages LED lights bring—long life, high color quality, and more—many fixtures create dots of light that can distract from the ambiance,” says Keith Clark, Task Lighting’s product manager of lighting and power. “The smooth output of our enhanced SempriaLED strip lights is an ideal solution for clean, even light that’s pleasing to the eye. So much so that designers will be less inclined to hide the lighting and instead can make it a design element.”
The company says the lights, balance “luxury and simplicity, with clean lines and forms combining with advanced, high-tech functionality and top-quality components.” They are manufactured and assembled in the U.S. and are simple to connect and install.
SempriaLED fixtures are UL listed and carry a five-year warranty. A variety of Kelvin temperatures are available.
