Hardware Resources Introduces Spring-Loaded Lift For Heavy Kitchen

Hardware Resources Appliance Lift

Hardware Resources has debuted a new spring-loaded lift that allows homeowners to store a heavy kitchen appliance out of sight and bring it up to counter level when it’s needed.

The company’s spring-loaded system provides mechanical assistance to raise a stand mixer, blender, or food processor from a base cabinet to just below counter height. The lift then locks into place to keep a powerful small appliance steady while in use, the company says.

“We’re introducing this appliance lift now so our customers can get their baking zones ready for the fall and winter holidays,” says Marisa Sanchez, product manager for Hardware Resources. “This year they’ll be able to move their heavy stand mixers right where they’re needed, then put them away again—without hurting their backs. And they’ll gain valuable clutter-free countertop space for everything that needs to be done in the kitchen this time of year.”

The unit features three adjustable spring settings that make it possible for the appliance lift to move kitchen machines weighing up to 45 pounds. It also has soft-close dampers to ensure smooth, quiet operation.

Compatible with frameless or face-frame cabinetry, it can be attached to a shelf measuring at least ¾ inch thick and no longer than 20½ inches. Sanchez says designers may also pair the lift with a wire pullout basket to store appliance supplies and accessories.
