Listone Giordano, maker of engineered floors, has unveiled a line of vertical interior cladding made from vertical wooden surfaces featuring printed and engraved patterns.
Lineadeko, the company says, is “a collection of three-dimensional effect wooden surfaces, designed by Aldo Cibic, whose refined graphical and decorative impact is rich in striking elements inspired by nature as well as by geometry, and perhaps even by the wider world of the graphic and visual arts.”
Introduced earlier this year at Salone del Mobile in Milan, Italy, the the collection comes in two large sizes and mold surfaces, which are engraved with a variety of motifs and textures, lending a tactile quality to interior walls or ceilings. The brand says the surfaces “have a significant visual impact” and offer a velvety, soft feel that will invite homeowners or visitors to touch.
The manufacturer says the covering introduction stems from a long period of research work and the development of a production process that was born when the brand introduced Undici—the first collection of parquet floors with laser engraved decorations. “Their satin finish, soft and silky to the touch, assures protection and durability, while enhancing the brightness of the hue and the sharpness of the motif,” the company adds.
Lineadeko panels feature laser-engraved decorations and bold lines that are animated according to the observation point and the amount and direction of light they receive. It comes in nine textures, with patterns evoking elements from the botanical world or geometric and linear motifs in different shapes.
The panels can be used for a variety decorative options in spaces as varied as bathrooms and libraries or contemporary kitchens and bedrooms.
“The geometries and motifs are designed to leave room for new creative inputs, free to renew over time, following future trends in interior design and decoration,” the company says.
Listone, whose wood flooring products are available at showrooms across the United States, will likely make the Lineadeko panels available throughout the country soon.
