Cedar Rapids, Iowa — Ogden & Adams Building Solutions announced today its plan to acquire the assets of Delhi Lumber company based in Delhi, Iowa.
“We are excited to welcome the customers and staff of Delhi Lumber to Ogden & Adams” stated Marty Hoeger, owner, and president of Ogden & Adams. “Both companies place a high value on customer service and delivering quality products to our customers” he added.
Mike and Vivian Cairney, co-owners of Delhi Lumber will assist with the transition, but both plan on retiring from the business in the near future. Mr. Cairney said “I am proud of our staff and the business we built. The merging of these two companies will be good for our employees and customers and I think it is very exciting opportunity.”
Delhi Lumber specializes in lumber packages, millwork, siding, roofing, windows, and doors. Ogden & Adams plans to retain all staff and to continue operations under its current flagship name Delhi Lumber at the current Delhi Lumber facility located at 330 Franklin St. Delhi, IA. “The addition of this great company and its experienced and talented staff expands our service offering, our sales footprint and increases our buying power.
“The team at Delhi Lumber brings significant industry experience and skillset. Together, we are more than 30 employees and have the capabilities and assets to conduct significantly more business in Eastern Iowa” Hoeger added.
Additionally, Ogden & Adams recently relocated into their new 20,000 square foot facility in Hiawatha that serves as the company headquarters and design center in addition to housing some of the company’s inventory. The new facility was completed in June of 2022.
