Paslode has issued a new and improved 16-gauge straight cordless finish nailer to run on a 7.4-volt Li-ion battery platform, replacing the NiCd version.
“Upgrading to the 7.4-volt Li-ion battery drastically improves productivity by driving up to 12,000 nails per charge, which enables the nailer to last days without needing a recharge,” the company says. “Also adding to the tool’s productivity, the Li-ion batteries have a 50 percent longer run time compared to NiCd batteries and can reach an 80 percent charge in only 30 minutes.”
Weighing just 4.6 pounds, the nailer features a belt hook, an easy-to-adjust depth-of-drive thumb wheel, a dry-fire lock-out to ensure accurate nail placement, and a no-mar tip to protect wood surfaces. Additionally, the battery stand-by position conserves power to prevent any drain on the battery when it’s not in use. paslode.com
