Video: LG Debuts Luxury Signature Kitchen Suite Brand

LG Electronics is showcasing its new luxury brand, Signature Kitchen Suite, at the just-opened Experience & Design Center, in Napa, Calif.

Signature Kitchen Suite appliances are geared toward "technicureans," a consumer segment that Signature Kitchen Suite defines as a new generation of luxury buyers that is equally food focused and tech savvy. The suite of built-in appliances, all on display at the 23,000-square-foot Experience & Design Center, includes a pro range, wall ovens, refrigeration columns, and wine coolers.

"We really envisioned and designed the product from the ground up," says Zach Elkin, general manager of the Signature Kitchen Suite brand. "It's really not about owning luxury with a 'technicurean,' it's about experiencing luxury."

The Signature Kitchen Suite pro range features four gas burners, a flexible induction cooktop, an embedded sous vide module, a 30-inch convection oven, and an 18-inch combi-steam oven. It is the only range on the market that can be installed flush against combustible materials, the company says. Signature Kitchen Suite refrigeration columns are panel-ready and feature the largest capacities in their class. In addition, the wine coolers are specifically designed to reduce vibrations, which can cause wine to lose flavor and quality over time.

Napa Valley, adjacent to Silicon Valley and at the center of the country's wine and food culture, was the obvious location choice for the Signature Kitchen Suite brand and the Experience & Design Center, Elkin says. The facility features more than 20 vignettes and nearly 200 LG appliances, including the company's other brands such as LG Signature, LG Studio, and LG Brand. To create the vignettes, LG partnered with luxury kitchen brands such as Kohler, Ann Sacks, and Waterworks.

In addition to the displays, the Experience & Design Center features an Signature Kitchen Suite-equipped demonstration kitchen with a full wall of ranges where builders, designers, and appliance dealers can come to test the product in person. It also includes the AI Lifestyle Zone, a space for demonstrating LG's artificial intelligence technology and smart home innovations to show professionals how to create a smart home ecosystem for their clients.
