WAC Lighting Introduces Downlights for Kitchens and Baths

WAC Oculux downlight

WAC has introduced downlights for kitchens and baths.

WAC Lighting has added Architectural LEDs for kitchens and baths to its collection of downlights.

The Oculux Architectural LEDs are simple and cost-effective, the company says. For use in the kitchen and bath, the downlights are IC rated, airtight, and wet location listed for both interiors and exteriors. The LED beams are adjustable and dimmable, can be used on 120-277 volt systems, and are rated to last 50,000-plus hours.

Oculux also features a dim-to-warm function to combine the “high performance of LED and the intimate warmth of incandescence,” the company says. As lights are dimmed, they drop to a warm 1800K. Fixtures come in base temperatures of 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, or 4000K and have a CRI of 95+ and up to 1,000 lumens.

Downlight, zero-30 degree adjustable, pinhole, and wall wash options are all compatible with a four-in-one housing. All configurations are available in trimless versions with a smooth, die-cast spackle frame. Trimmed versions come in powder-coated white or glare-reducing Stealth Haze. Apertures of 3.5 inches and 2 inches are available.
