Window and door manufacturer Western Window Systems has added a pivot door to its Series 7000 family of aluminum products.
The products features low U-values, Cardinal IG glass, and high performance ratings, the company says.
“The Series 7000 family of moving glass walls and windows is our vision for the future of indoor-outdoor living and architects, designers, and builders across the country are using it to create energy-smart contemporary homes and commercial projects,” Scott Gates, Western’s president and CEO, says in a release.
One of 12 new energy-smart products the company has introduced in 12 months, the Series 7980 pivot door has an extruded aluminum frame utilizing custom Insulbar profiles that further reduces energy consumption.
Doors are available in widths from 24 to 72 inches and in heights from 24 to 120 inches. They have been performance-tested at DP50, and feature a low-profile threshold for easy entry. Can be combined with the company’s fixed and hinged windows
